Section 2 – Nuisances. Nothing shall be done or maintained on any Unit or Lot which may be or become an annoyance or nuisance to adjacent Owners. Any activity on a Unit or Lot which interferes with television, cable or radio reception on another Lot or in another Unit shall be deemed a nuisance and a prohibited activity.
Section 5 – Noise. Exterior noise, and noise emanating from within Units or other improvements, including without limitation, talking, singing, television, radio, record or tape player or musical instruments, shall be maintained from 11:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. at such volume that the noise is not audible beyond the boundaries of the Lot, or outside the boundaries of the Unit, if the Unit is in a condominium, apartment complex or similar attached dwelling from which it originates, and at all times so as not to constitute a nuisance or unreasonable annoyance to neighbors.
According to our attorney, the use of fireworks within our HOA would be a violation.
Another issue brought to mind is that a person cannot launch a firework that lands on someone else’s property without their permission. Therefore, launching a rocket from your yard becomes a problem if it lands on the common property, or the neighbor’s yard where it would be considered trespassing and could cause damage or injury. You would be held responsible.
Being a Military Community, we need to consider our combat veterans and the stress exploding fireworks may cause. We also need to consider how many have beloved pets that possibly would react badly to the commotion.
Our regular schedule of being open everyday but Monday will begin Wednesday, May 27th.

REFERENCE: UPDATING OF CONTACT INFORMATION
Dear Owners:
Because you have an investment in SugarMill Plantation, we want to be sure you are kept apprised of any and all pertinent information that would affect your property. We need your help to be sure information you need is not returned to us because our database has not been updated with your current contact information!
In an effort to reduce the cost of mail outs and postage expense, we are asking our owners to please use our contact form on our website to notify Management of your current email address for notices, as well as other contact numbers you prefer, and as always, your current mailing address. Visit our website www.sugarmillplantation.org; go to “About Us, Contact Us” and complete the information requested. Use the comment section to provide your current mailing address, if different from your SugarMill address.
If you do not occupy your home, be sure we have contact information for yourself, as well as your occupants. If your property is managed by someone other than yourself, be sure your Manager is aware of our website, www.sugarmillplantion.org. Under Community, Forms and Applications, they will find our Owner, Tenant, Management Company form which they should complete and forward to Management when they do your lease for a new tenant. Without this important information, your tenants will be unable to have use of our amenities.
Times are changing! Now that we have a website, please help us facilitate the updating of information so that we can keep you informed!
Regards,
